Sana’a Cafe, a popular Yemeni coffee chain, is continuing to grow across the Bay Area. The brand is opening four new locations in the region, adding to its presence in Northern California.
Known for its bold, flavorful Yemeni coffee, Sana’a Cafe serves unique drinks like the rose latte and Jubani — a medium-light roast coffee brewed with coffee husks, ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon.
“Our story begins in the mystical mountains of Yemen, where coffee has been cultivated for centuries,” the café’s website states. “With every sip, you’ll taste the history, culture, and tradition that Yemeni coffee embodies.”
Sana’a Cafe currently operates five Bay Area locations — two in Oakland, and others in San Francisco, Mountain View, and San Rafael. In addition to its Bay Area expansion, the café is also opening a new location in Los Angeles. That shop will be located at 939 Broxton Avenue in the Westwood neighborhood.
The company’s continued growth highlights the rising popularity of Yemeni coffee and its deep cultural roots.
