Philadelphia-based delivery service Gopuff is expanding its Starbucks delivery zone — and celebrating with a cool giveaway. On Wednesday, residents in several Philadelphia neighborhoods and nearby suburbs can get a free grande iced coffee, delivered right to their door.
The offer applies to customers in Northeast Philly, West Philly, Germantown, Mount Airy, and Chestnut Hill, as well as suburban areas like Bethlehem, Wallingford, Brookhaven, Media, and Folsom.
Gopuff will deliver Starbucks drinks 24/7, prepared by Starbucks-trained baristas using official equipment and ingredients. Drinks are made at Gopuff-owned fulfillment centers.
To claim the free coffee, customers must order through the Gopuff app. The offer is limited to one free grande iced coffee per order, with no delivery fee. However, customers who add other items to their order must meet a $12.95 minimum, or pay a $4.95 fee.
Founded in 2013 by Drexel University grads Yakir Gola and Rafael Ilishayev, Gopuff began by delivering snacks and essentials. In 2023, the company launched a pilot Starbucks program in neighborhoods including Old City, Northern Liberties, Fairmount, University City, and Center City.
“Gopuff is a Philadelphia success story, and I’m thrilled to see them continue to grow and innovate,” said Mayor Cherelle Parker in a statement. “Having access to the Starbucks menu 24/7 is a big win, particularly for our students and third-shift workers.”
Gopuff’s Starbucks expansion shows no signs of slowing — and for coffee lovers across the region, that’s very good news.
