In response to the ongoing rise in international coffee market prices, Japanese coffee chain Kemeido Coffee has announced price adjustments starting May 20, 2025. Due to increases in raw materials, packaging, logistics, and personnel costs, the average price increase for beverages will be 5 yuan, while popular snacks like square burgers, fried chicken nuggets, and French fries will see a price increase of 5 to 10 yuan. Overall, the price adjustment will result in an average increase of approximately 3.5%.
Kemeido Coffee, known for its cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a living room and its sincere hospitality, remains committed to offering Taiwanese customers an authentic Japanese Nagoya tea culture experience. The chain currently operates 35 stores in Taiwan and continues to expand.
Kemeido Coffee uses 100% Arabica beans, carefully selected and medium-dark roasted to create a mellow and rich flavor. To complement its coffee offerings, the chain is launching a new product, the “Classic Coffee Filter,” allowing customers to easily brew and enjoy Kemeido’s signature flavor at home or in the office.
This move aims to stabilize the supply chain and maintain consistent product quality while continuing to offer the unique experience Kemeido is known for.
