Starbucks Korea Expands Discount Coffee Program to All Rewards Members

by Jessica

Starbucks Korea announced on Monday that it will officially launch its “One More Coffee” program, offering customers a second cup of coffee at a 60% discount. The program, which was tested for two months starting in February, was previously limited to Starbucks Rewards Gold members.

During the trial period, about 60% of eligible Gold members used the discount, showing strong interest and engagement. More than half of those who bought a qualifying beverage returned to use their coupons, according to Starbucks Korea.

Encouraged by this positive response, the company has decided to expand the program to include all Starbucks Rewards members starting April 23. The program will now also offer a wider selection of drinks, increasing the number of eligible beverages from two to four, including options for decaffeinated coffee.

To use the One More Coffee benefit, a customer must first purchase one of the four eligible drinks—cafe americano, cafe latte, today’s coffee, or iced coffee—in a tall size or larger. The purchase must be made using a registered Starbucks card or the Starbucks app.

After 30 minutes, the customer will receive a 60% discount on another drink, choosing from today’s coffee, iced coffee, decaf cafe americano, or half-decaf cafe americano. For example, today’s coffee (355ml) will be available for 1,800 won, and a decaf cafe americano for 2,000 won.

Starbucks Korea said the expansion reflects customer feedback and growing demand for more decaffeinated options.
